The Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) is more than a run, it’s a movement of law enforcement officers and community partners who champion inclusion, acceptance, and respect for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Across Idaho, law enforcement officers carry the Flame of Hope to raise awareness, build meaningful connections, and generate funds that empower Special Olympics athletes year-round. Through the Torch Run and events such as the Polar Plunge, Tip-A-Cop, and Bagging for Bucks, LETR brings communities together while supporting opportunities for athletes to grow, compete, and transform lives. Globally, more than 110,000 law enforcement members participate in LETR each year, which has raised nearly One Billion since its inception for Special Olympics programs worldwide.
